Playoku ("we", "us") is a free online Sudoku game at playoku.com. This policy explains what data we handle and the choices you have. We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email or payment details to play.
Data we store on your device
To make the game work, Playoku saves a small amount of information directly in your browser — not on our servers:
- Your current game is saved in a cookie so you can close the tab and resume later.
- Your preferences (such as light/dark theme and the assist setting) are stored in your browser's local storage.
This data stays on your device and can be cleared at any time by deleting your browser's cookies and site data for playoku.com.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used — for example, which puzzles and pages are popular — so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and pages visited.
